CIRCUS

23 Aug 2019 – 5 Jan 2020

The circus holds a central position within the last 150 years of art history. The meaning and significance of the circus motif has changed over time, but the theme itself seems to never have fallen out of fashion. With the exhibition CIRCUS, Gammel Holtegaard wishes to shed light on selected themes associated with the circus motif back from the 1890s to the present day.
